Job Description
The Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association (GBWBA) has secured funding through Sport England’s Playground to Podium framework to deliver an exciting development programme throughout England.

We are seeking to appoint a part-time administrator to support the delivery of County Athlete Assessment Days across England and the development of clubs.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and with the development managers support the administration and logistics of the development programme.

The position will:
• Coordinate the wheelchair basketball element of County Athlete Assessment Days in England.
• Maintain records of development activity across England.
• Liaise with clubs and external bodies on behalf of the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association.
• Support the work of the club and coach development managers.
Personal Spec. • Be enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to the development of wheelchair basketball.
• Deliver under pressure to agreed time scales.
• Be able to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
• Have good oral and written communication skills.
• Be computer literate and have experience using the Microsoft office suite
• Carry out and operate within the GBWBA Equal Opportunities Policy.
• Be committed to self improvement and development.
• Experience of sport development and the delivery system would be an advantage.
