Level 1 Assistant Coach Award
Aim / Content
Provides candidates with basic knowledge of the game with emphasis on the fundamental skills
The holder of the award will be able to introduce and develop basic skills.
Course Duration:12 hours
Level 2 Coach Award
Aim / Content
This is the standard level of coaching qualification for all club coaches. It gives an overview of all aspects of basketball, and a basic introduction to sports coaching.
Course Duration: 24 hours
Level 1 Referees Award
Aim:
To encourage, train and qualify persons to act as apprentice referees.
Content: Qualifies candidate to officiate at school/recreational games.
Course Duration: 6 hours
